Lullaby

Fuzzy little sleepy head
Close your eyes
Close your eyes

Nannie sings a lullaby
Close your eyes
Close your eyes

Out on our street
The cars whizz by
Their tires hum
This lullaby
Close your eyes
Close your eyes

You snuggle close
So soft and sweet
What happened to
Those busy feet?

They're quiet now
No time for play ...

Our big green chair
Is warm and deep
It holds us close
And softly squeaks
Close your eyes
Close your eyes

The shadows tuck
Around your head
They're whispering
It's time for bed
Close your eyes
Close your eyes

Fuzzy little sleepy head
The morning's just one nap away
We'll laugh and tumble, dream and play

So close your eyes ... Close your eyes

WALK AROUND THE BLOCK

Nicholas saw:

a parking lot full of cars
a squirrel digging in the earth
a breeze that nips his cheeks and nose
and his bright blue rubber boots
