Who knew how much fun is hidden inside an empty cookie box!

Nicholas and Nannie found:

playing cards: 2 big cookie cards - 2 little cookie cards

Inside the box -
Nicholas discovered that tearing long strips of thin paper
makes a whole collection of wonderful paper curls

A drum: Nicholas uses his green shaker
and turns the cellophane cookie holder to make music

Bright Tuesday..

Nicholas is up with the birds...
And is ready for a Great Nap

Out the front door, he sees:

The squirrel is having breakfast
On our sidewalk
Then he hops away
Pop... Pop... Pop...
Just like popcorn!

Cloudy Monday...

It's a cool morning in Nicholas' neighbourhood. He goes for a quiet walk ... explores his new crayons ... and puts them back in the box - one by one - when he's done. Hmmm... story time, I think!
